The November election could flip the ideological majority on Michigan’s Supreme Court.
The election itself is nonpartisan, but the candidates are nominated by the Democratic and Republican parties. Justices nominated or appointed by the Democrats currently hold a 4-3 majority. There are two seats in contention.
